Eco Queenslander

Eco Queenslander is a 4 star, multi-award winning and sustainable holiday home and B&B that opened in April 2009 in Maryborough. Eco Queenslander became carbon neutral in energy use in May 2010 and has maintained carbon neutrality since then.

Eco Queenslander is proof that old homes can be retrofitted to enhance their sustainability and provides a platform, to both home owners and businesses, that demonstrates that we can be gentler on our environment every day without compromising our comfort; and saving some money at the same time. Eco Queenslander became an ecoBiz Partner with the Queensland Government in October 2011 after completing Step 6 of the EcoBiz program. The EcoBiz program offers great tools to businesses for assessing and monitoring their carbon footprint which Cécile Espigolé, owner of Eco Queenslander, highly recommends to all businesses wanting to become eco-efficient.
